Contract Negotiation

Are you a business owner? Have an important contract negotiation to review and sign? What is an arbitration agreement? What law will apply to that contract, California’s law on contracts or Connecticut’s law? If the contract provides for you to pay on delivery of the ordered products, what happens if the goods ordered arrive in a damaged condition? What constitutes a “material breach” of the agreement by the other side that allows you to consider the contract over? What are your rights if the other party damages you via their non-performance or breach?    

There is an old but true statement that "You do not get what you deserve but what you negotiate." Too many people and businesses sign contracts, often pre-printed ones, that are one sided and if it’s not your pre-printed contract, it will likely not favor you.
